NailGPT Privacy Policy

NailGPT is an AI business coaching app for nail technicians, operated by Jenni NailD Tha Block, LLC (United States), published as "NailGPT Technologies". This policy explains what data we collect, how we collect and use it, and what is shared with a third-party AI service.

In short: we collect your name, email and password to run your account. When you chat with a coach, the messages you type are sent to OpenAI to generate replies, and only after you give permission in the app. Your name, email and password are never sent to OpenAI. We do not sell your data.

1. Data we collect and how

Account data, entered by you when you sign up: full name, email address and password. We do not collect your phone number.
Chat data, entered by you: the messages you send to a coach, the replies you receive, and the chats you save.
Automatic data: a sign-in token stored on your device, and basic technical data (device type, OS, app version, error logs).

2. How we use your data

Create and manage your account, and verify your email.
Provide the coaching features and keep your chat history.
Keep the app secure and fix problems.
Respond to your support requests.

We use your data for nothing else.

3. Sharing data with a third-party AI service

Who receives it: OpenAI, our third-party AI provider.
What is sent: the messages you type to a coach, plus earlier messages in the same chat needed for a relevant reply. If you type personal details into a message (for example a client's name), they are sent too, so please don't.
What is not sent: your name, email address, password and sign-in token.
Why: only to generate the reply you asked for.
Your permission: the app asks for your permission before your messages are sent to OpenAI for the first time. If you decline, AI coaching is unavailable. You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing us.
Protection: OpenAI processes your messages under its terms for business customers and must protect them to the same standard as this policy.

AI replies can be wrong. NailGPT gives general business guidance, not legal, tax, financial or medical advice.

4. Other sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Besides OpenAI, we share data only with service providers that host our servers and send verification emails (they may use it only to serve us), and with authorities when the law requires it.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all linked data (including chat history) in the app at [Profile > Delete account], or by emailing galibmahmud.ducse@gmail.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my NailGPT account". We delete it within [30] days.

6. Your rights and security

You may access, correct or delete your data and withdraw consent by emailing us. Passwords are stored in protected form, and connections to our servers are encrypted. No system is completely secure.

7. Children

NailGPT is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, including what is sent to the AI service, we will update the date above and ask for your permission again where needed.
